The second season of POPPY CAT kicks-off tomorrow on Sprout, and with a seasonally-spiced theme, a preview of "Halloween Woods" lands here on THE ROCK FATHER for Day 24 of my annual 31 Days of Halloween. We checked out an advance of the episode this week (it's super-cute), and you could say that it was sort of inspiring for us, as the girls requested that Daddy draw them a Poppy Cat... so I did, entirely out of crayon...

Poppy CatSynopsis: POPPY CAT - "Halloween Woods"

The friends are carving pumpkin lanterns when Owl reveals that Halloween is his favourite holiday and invites them to Halloween Woods, a special place that’s run by his friend Basil the Bat. Everyone is excited to go except for Alma, who confesses that she doesn’t like spooky things – especially bats. Poppy suggests they give it a try and if Alma doesn’t like it, they can return home. They take a Halloween train ride, in costume, to the Woods, where Owl continues to scare Alma with his appearance as a ghost, and the train is stopped by hitting a giant pumpkin, followed by an appearance by “The Pumpkin King” (Egbert) who demands to ride the train with them so he can take all their Halloween sweets when they arrive at the Woods. When Egbert demands that Alma remove her Princess crown, Owl and Zuzu conspire to play a trick on Egbert, and frighten him off with Owl’s ghostly appearance. At Halloween Woods, they are met by the friendly Basil the Bat, who shows them fun games like Pumpkin Bowling, a Halloween piñata, and Rubber Spider Hopscotch. Alma starts to relax when a mishap causes her to fall into a bucket of rubber spiders, frightening her, until Basil saves her. Alma realizes it was silly to judge someone before meeting them.

Freehand, yes - but I was looking at a picture for the overall shape.
