PRONG is one of my Top Five Favorite Bands of All-Time - a fact I feel necessary to point out every single time I have news from them to share. Now, ahead of their spring touring activities (including dates with HELMET and Powerflo), the crew over at SPV/Steamhammer has unleashed the latest music video from PRONG... "Forced into Tolerance."  The track comes from their latest album, Zero Days. See the new video via Blabbermouth below, and crank it up loud!

Crank This: PRONG - "Ultimate Authority"

What a wonderful time we live in. Yesterday started off as a simple Friday, but by the end of the day there was a new album from CLUTCH, a new single from KILLING JOKE, and a surprise new single from the mighty PRONG. Three of my favorite bands, indeed - but that PRONG (one of my Top Five Favorite Bands of All-Time) single was a shining cherry on top of an already fantastic week here at Rock Father HQ. "Ultimate Authority" was released on the eve of PRONG's North American Tour with DANZIG, which kicks-off tonight in Tempe, Arizona, and finds PRONG frontman Tommy Victor doing double-duty, as he also serves as Glenn Danzig's longtime guitar player. "Ultimate Authority" is the first single from PRONG's new studio album, X (No Absolutes) to be released worldwide January 29, 2016 on Steamhammer/SPV.

Just two years after the release of the excellent CARVED INTO STONE (which I reviewed here on THE ROCK FATHER). Produced by PRONG mastermind TOMMY VICTOR with Steve Evetts (SEPULTURA, HATEBREED) there to add "his shine" to the record, you can imagine that I'm more than a little excited. It's time for a weekend edition of The Random Rock N' More, the column where the ''...for Grown-ups'' section infiltrates the normally family-friendly homepage of The Rock Father. Below you'll find updates on over 40 bands and artists - all of which have hit my inbox in the past few days. ''Random Rock'' means just that. Black Metal, indie, punk, acoustic, underground, mainstream - it's all here. ''N' More is everything else for a well-balanced musical parfait. Let's get to work.
