I feel pretty out of the loop since I have not yet played ROCK BAND 4. No, this longtime ROCK BAND enthusiast has yet to upgrade to the Xbox One, so for now I have to admire the latest installment of the Harmonix franchise from afar. This week, the "Off the Charts 01" Pack has been released, a fresh batch of DLC including Beck – “Dreams”, BØRNS – “Electric Love”, Catfish And The Bottlemen – “Cocoon”, Cold War Kids – “First” and X Ambassadors – “Renegades." Check out a video preview below...

Nope. The headline for this post makes little (no) sense at all, but after dropping an early preview right here on The Rock Father a few weeks back, the folks at Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star have just released their 113th collection: LULLABY VERSIONS OF BECK. Featuring 14 of Beck Hansen's most popular cuts reworked into "lush instrumental" versions perfect for your baby's nursery, the new album arrived on iTunes and other digital retailers today. BECK might have "two turntables and a microphone," but the TTLRS crew told me they busted out "two pianos and a xylophone" for the recording of this baby-centric jam. Tracklisting and preview below.

The folks at Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star are relentless in their pursuit of lullaby glory. Yes, they've made it their mission to literally rock your baby to sleep, and with a brand-new collection hitting the streets each Tuesday, their library keeps growing, as does the list of artists getting lullabied. On April 23rd, BECK will get a collection, when LULLABY VERSIONS OF BECK arrives at digital retailers. The new album features 14 of Beck Hansen's biggest hits and fan favorites, reworked into instrumental melodies for your babies' nursery. Want an early preview? Grab two turntables and a microphone and check out "Where It's At" below...

Keeping busy on Baby Watch 2012, I've been behind on the music news. Since the publicists and artists have been looking for coverage, I'm always happy to help when I can, so that means it's time for another list of rapid-fire updates on over 40 bands and artists from around the music spectrum. This is also when the not-neccessarily family-friendly content gets a spot on The Rock Father homepage, so be warned.
