Two months after revealing their resurrection and reformation, DIRGE WITHIN are ready to make new “Memories” with the release of their comeback single, available today on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and other digital outlets. Originally featured on their 2012 album, "There Will Be Blood," the re-recorded single positions the band to pick up right where they left off prior to their five-year hiatus.

It's been a little while since I've done a Random Rock column, so we're more than overdue. The drill is simple - I offer random-fire updates on a few dozen artists along with links to dig deeper, should you choose. From here on out, I'm adding 'N' MORE' to the title so that I can include some non-rock stuff on occasion. With a current total of 7,943 unread emails sitting in my inbox (no joke!) I sometimes wonder if the bands, artists, labels, managers, and publicists appreciate my taking the time to do this... but I do love spreading the rock. Here's updates on 31 Artists for Thursday, March 15, 2012!

Additionally, both bands have been through the ringer when it comes to labels and lineups, and both chose August of 2011 to release their sixth studio albums - both through eOne Entertainment.
