With the Black Friday shopping week finally upon us, the end of the 2015 Holiday Shopping Season is already in sight - a green-and-red clad elf waving a festively-themed checkered flag at the finish line: December 25th. Family gatherings and the spreading of Holiday Cheer begins with Thanksgiving for us, and that means getting The Rock Daughters™ ready for all the photos and fun - and new Holiday Dresses are always a part of that. We're big Kohl's shoppers to begin with, and this year they've really gone all-in on the Holidays - increasing their toy selection  by 50%, and bringing families a fantastic selection of clothing, decor, gifts  and more. Our family headed for Kohl's to get the girls decked-out in their Holiday best, and (when they're behaving) trying on all the different possibilities is a huge part of the fun.

Kohl's Holiday 2015

Making our way to the Girl's department, our daughters kept getting detoured by all the toys on display throughout the store. PAW Patrol is a big one right now, and the classics like Barbie and Hot Wheels are well-represented, but Finn most certainly has The Force like her father,  enamored by the large assortment of STAR WARS items spread across nearly every department. After the traditional "running of the aisles" was complete, we assembled several possible combinations and headed for the fitting room. A little red...

A little gold...

And it's perfectly acceptable to break into song while in the Kohl's fitting rooms...

Breaking into song!

Ultimately, Addie (left) chose the Disney D-Signed Disney DESCENDANTS (a movie I know a little something about) Sequin Flocked Dress, paired with Lurex Sparkle Carter's Cardigan in Ivory. Finley zeroed in on the Rare Editions Soutache Silver Dress, topped with the Black version of the Carter's Lurex Sparkle Cardigan. I told the little ones that they'd chosen a very upscale, "big city" kind of elegance with their outfits.
