A whole bunch of new toys from Hasbro's Transformers: Bumblebee were revealed today, and many went up for pre-order via my friends at Entertainment Earth. One of the hottest items in the bunch is Transformers Studio Series Deluxe Bumblebee and Charlie which was originally intended to be a Toys "R" Us Exclusive, prior to the retailer's sudden collapse. This new figure set is available for pre-order right now, but if you're at all wary of potential "spoilers," beware that the product description and photos might reveal a few surprises when it comes to 'Bee's alt modes...

It's a big day for Transformers as new toys from Paramount Pictures' Bumblebee Movie just hit pre-order (see them all here) and a whole bunch of new items from Cartoon Network's Transformers: Cyberverse just hit the streets. But that's not all - as some other items got into the mix including new plush keychains and an anticipated addition to the preschool-geared Rescue Bots line. My friends at Entertainment Earth just put them up for pre-order, so lets take a look...

We're just a few months out from the Christmas release of Paramount Pictures' new Bumbleebee film, and now Hasbro is gearing up to start rolling out the companion toys. A sizable assortment of Transformers just went up for pre-order via my friends at Entertainment Earth and among the new items are the following from the new Bumblebee line.  While the traditional transforming action figures are the core of the collection, Hasbro continues to emphasize role play, large-scale feature figures and their Vision AR line that first surfaced as an Iron Man helmet during the product launch for Avengers: Infinity War. Check out the new toys below, and note the character names alongside their pre-production code names (used to prevent potential spoilers during the pre-announcement stages). Every few years, there's a new evolution of Hasbro's iconic Transformers - new stories for new generations. Now, ahead of Paramount Pictures' live-action Bumblebee hitting theaters this Christmas, the latest animated adventures are ready to roll out on Cartoon Network with the premiere of Transformers: Cyberverse. Tonight I've got a  fresh trailer and clip to give you a look at what's in-store...

"Why is Bumblebee a different car?"  "Is that John Cena?" Those are questions asked by The Rock Daughters™ this morning as they checked out the trailer for Paramount Pictures' Bumblebee before school this morning. The first Transformers spin-off to come from the Michael Bay TF Universe, Bumblebee is a much smaller film, and one rooted in the "Generation One" era of the 1980s. We see 'Bee in his most famous form - the one kids learned to love back where it all started as a Volkswagen Beetle. But that's not all... look closely and you'll see that at some point he scans a Jeep Wrangler (maybe a Renegade?), and as the last Transformers film showed us, Bumblebee was at one point a military vehicle circa WWII. The designs are simpler, and there's definitely an E.T. vibe happening as ghostly voice of the late Bernie Mac reminds us that "the car will choose the driver." Take a look...

It's never fun to do a reveal that doesn't genuinely show the goods, but sometimes things just aren't quite ready yet. At Toy Fair there's always a lot of in-development product that's "pending licensor approval," and for some companies that means showing it privately, but not allowing pictures to get out there. The folks at Jada Toys have some fantastic offerings on the way, serving up new toys for kids and collectors alike, but unfortunately most of them are not ready to be seen. From new additions to their growing Nano Metalfigs line to all-new collections like a diecast line for girls (complete with licenses like Nickelodeon's Sunny Day) and expansion of their long-running Fast & Furious and supercar/tuners assortments, I'll be sharing much more very soon. For right now, though - there's one line in particular that really hit the sweet spot for me, and one property that really pushed it over the top. Hollywood Rides + KNIGHT RIDER? I'm in! Check out the video below...
