Back in February, one of the most buzzed-about new products at the 115th North American International Toy Fair was being shown behind closed doors in a private viewing room. Wow! Stuff had created the most realistic Golden Snitch that anyone had ever seen, and a few folks were lucky enough to see it in-action, and some, like my colleagues at The Toy Insider, were able to catch some video. Today, The Rock Father™ can exclusively announce that the Mystery Flying Snitch will make its debut first from Entertainment Earth at Comic-Con this month where it will be offered alongside a few incredible Harry Potter products from Wow! Stuff. Available now for pre-order, check out all the details below... but stay tuned! I'll be catching up with the crew from Wow! Stuff at The Toy Insider's Sweet Suite 2018 in New York City later this week and will be sharing more. This new collection of must-have Harry Pottter items is going to be hot, and you can get them first from Entertainment Earth!

As the micro collectibles movement continues to grow, one recent entrant owes a lot to the past. Back in the early 80s, a decade or so before Micro Machines did plastic miniature figures, Kenner toys released the Star Wars Micro Collection - small, diecast figures and playsets. The figures weren't articulated, and the line never caught on, but there were other diecast figures out there, and they became more appealing to collectors as time went on. This year, Jada Toys expanded their METALS Diecast series by shrinking it down. Nano MetalFigs are tiny diecast figurines from a variety of pop culture licensees. There's Harry Potter, DC Comics (perfect for Justice League), Disney/Pixar, Marvel, WWE and more - and the individual figures start at just 99 cents, making them a perfect stocking stuffer!

When I'm in Los Angeles, one of my favorite places to visit is Universal CityWalk and Universal Studios Hollywood. Since I often stay at the Sheraton Universal, it's just a short walk up the hill and a place that comes with a couple of constant reminders: 1) I need to take my entire family to L.A. soon (my wife and kids have never been to California), and 2) we have to visit Universal Studios. In fact, ever since I saw construction of Hogwarts begin a few years back, the wheels on a trip have been turning, particularly since my wife is a massive Harry Potter fan (she has the wands to prove it). Now comes news that really gives me the bug because it taps into my unusually-high love of Christmas. This year, "Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" is happening, but that's just one piece of what's promised to be "a wintry calendar of festive holiday experiences and an array of delectable treats that families and friends far and wide can enjoy" at Universal this coming season. Here's the rundown on what visitors can expect for 2017...

Confession: I and my children have never played LEGO Dimensions... not even a demo, and for whatever reason, despite all of my LEGO coverage, it just hasn't happened. While my interest was piqued last year, we missed the first go 'round of the LEGO entry in the "toys-to-life" aisle, but with today's news that may have to change... LEGO Dimensions just grabbed my retro-loving heart. This Fall, the call is to "Go Bigger," and that means new characters spanning new franchises, many of which are completely unexpected. From a LEGO "Tom Cruise" as MISSION IMPOSSIBLE's Ethan Hunt to characters from ADVENTURE TIME and the forthcoming GHOSTBUSTERS reboot, the 80s are well-represented with E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, THE GOONIES, GREMLINS, BEETLEJUICE and THE A-TEAM, and the biggest one for me... a set from the greatest television series of all-time: KNIGHT RIDER! While there's no pictures available, you can pretty much expect a LEGO Michael Knight (David Hasselhoff) and K.I.T.T. to compliment the just-revealed B.A. Baracus (Mr. T) and GMC Van from THE A-TEAM. But that's not all that's coming to LEGO Dimensions...

From J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World comes Warner Bros. Pictures' FANTASTIC BEASTS and WHERE TO FIND THEM, a new adventure that takes place in New York City, 70 years prior to Harry Potter reading the book of Newt Scamander while attending Hogwarts. Set for release on November 18, 2016, the first proper teaser trailer for David Yates' new film has arrived. Check it out below...

"When a mysterious and powerful vortex suddenly appears in various LEGO worlds, different characters from DC Comics, The Lord of the Rings and The LEGO Movie are swept away. To save their friends, Batman, Gandalf and Wyldstyle bravely jump into the vortex and quickly find themselves fighting to save all of LEGO humanity."

That's the basic gist of LEGO DIMENSIONS (out September 27), a new offering from LEGO and Warner Bros. that brings a brick-based spin on the toys-meet-games genre that was pioneered by SKYLANDERS and expanded upon by DISNEY INFINITY. Today's official announcement of LEGO Dimensions ends days of speculation fueled by LEGO's #BreakTheRules social media campaign that had fans guessing... and in many cases, going down the wrong rabbit hole. Check out the teaser starring COMMUNITY's Joel McHale...
