Presented in collaboration between The Rock Father™ and Mattel

There’s several trends in toys for 2018, and Mattel has managed to tick the boxes on many of them with one new line - Pooparoos Surpriseroos, available only at Walmart. Coming out of Toy Fair back in February, the world knew that bathroom fun would be a big deal, and here we see that combined with squishy collectibles, micro-collectibles and the ever-popular element of both blind boxes and blind bags. Kids will love the unboxing experience that these provide, with each adorable toilet playset including one squishy Pooparoos character paired with three blind Surpriseroos. Check out our hands-on video to see five-year-old Finley (youngest of The Rock Daughters™) cracking some open!

The basic concept is fairly simple. Kids open the box, then open the smiling toilet bowl to reveal their Pooparoos character inside (Finn got a unicorn, while her older sister scored a bunny). Then look inside the toilet tank for three tiny blind bags. Fill the bowl with water, place a bag inside, then watch it quickly dissolve as you stir it, revealing a Surpriseroos character! There’s all kinds of fun foods like hot dogs, cookies and cupcakes, and then there’s some sparkly, glittery, colorful poo. The Pooparoos can then gobble them up and yes, poop them out again and again!

Pooparoos Surpriseroos Review

It sounds silly because it is! Pooparoos Surpriseroos are cute, light-hearted fun without the “gross-out” element. You’ll want to get your hands on these as soon as possible as they make a great gift, but they’ve been hard to come by. Hit this link to add one to your cart at Walmart.com (check back if they’re out of stock), or check the collectible aisle of your local Walmart store toy department. While our friends at Mattel sent us one, I had to stalk Walmart for a few days to purchase another so that both of our daughters could share in the fun.
