#BeLegendary: The Year of Legendary Pokémon is Upon Us...

2018 is the year of Legendary Pokémon, and to celebrate this epic occasion, families have a new ways to add some fresh characters to Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon (full disclosure: We received copies of those games from the folks at Nintendo) the newest Nintendo 3DS games in the franchise. Legendary Pokémon are some of the most powerful and well-known Pokémon out there - and throughout the year,  there will be multiple ways for kids to add them to their Pokémon Ultra SunPokémon Ultra MoonPokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon game! For May, those are Yveltal and Xerneas, originally discovered in the Kalos region - and the FREE DOWNLOAD CODE to get them is only available at GameStop (an affiliate) through 5/27.

Each month, Pokémon fans can receive a free download code for their Pokémon Ultra SunPokémon Ultra MoonPokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon game to get a select Legendary Pokémon! The codes can be retrieved at a select retail partner such as Best Buy, Target or GameStop, or through the Pokémon Trainer Club newsletter (Pokémon Trainer Club account required). The location and method of retrieving the free download code changes, so be sure to check out the Legendary Pokémon distribution site each month for details. The site is updated regularly and includes fun facts, quizzes, activities and more. Be sure to also check out Play.Nintendo.com for other Pokémon themed creative ideas!

James Zahn

James Zahn is best-known as The Rock Father™, a media personality, commentator, adventurer and raconteur. He currently serves as an artist manager and video director for PRODUCT OF HATE, whose debut album was released by Napalm Records in 2016, distributed by ADA/Warner Music in the U.S. with Universal Music handling global. A new album has been completed and is set for release this year.
