#31DaysOfHalloween: Behold the Call of Cthulhu (and win his Funko Dorbz)!

Written by

Despite being quite a fan of horror and the supernatural, I'm not well-versed in the works of H.P. Lovecraft. Of course, I am familiar with the mighty Cthulhu, who first landed on my radar not by his legend, but via Metallica. Indeed, it was Metallica's instrumental "Call of Ktulu" from 1984's Ride the Lightning that was my first exposure to this mythical beast, and some three+ decades later it seems that Cthulhu's fame is greater than ever as the tentacled one has risen to become a household name. With that in mind, The Rock Father™ and Entertainment Earth are giving readers a chance to win a new Funko Dorbz CTHULHU figure! As part of 31 Days of Halloween 2017, you could own this 3" version of Lovecraft's Great Old One, but which one will you get? Could it be the standard version, or the highly-limited Glow-in-the-Dark "Chase" version? The Master of R'Lyeh awaits!

Funko Cthulhu Dorbz

Since I mentioned it, I think it's appropriate that Cthulhu has a soundtrack, so crank up the speakers and check out this live performance from Metallica's S&M, in which they performed "Call of Ktulu" alongside a full orchestra conducted by the late Michael Kamen...
