Princess Leia Gets a "Classic" Mrs. Potato Head Treatment...

It's impossible to think of Princess Leia without thinking of the late Carrie Fisher, as the character she inhabited lives on in many forms. This year, as Star Wars celebrates its 40th Anniversary, the folks at PPW Toys are continuing their line of licensed Mr Potato Head PopTaters, and as we spin things back to 1977, it's time for a "classic" Mrs. Potato Head version of Princess Leia!

Mrs. Potato Head joins the Rebel Alliance and becomes a force for good as Princess Leia!  This detailed figure includes the iconic Alderaan gown and hairstyle worn by Leia when she first appeared in Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope.  Standing 6" tall and wielding her Defender sporting blaster, this version of Mrs. Potato Head is ready for action!

You might recall that in 2015, PPW Toys released their "Captive Leia" (the more "PC" version of referencing the iconic "Slave Leia") from 1983's Return of the Jedi. I said it then, and I'll say it again - that was one hot potato.
