Review: Wall Friends Doc McStuffins Talking Night Light

Uncle MiltonWith both of my girls really being in full-blown DOC McSTUFFINS mode (it's the first property that they've really connected with together) and our collection of DOC toys and clothing ever-expanding, I couldn't resist the offer posited by Uncle Milton to check out their new DOC McSTUFFINS room light from their WALL FRIENDS Collection. You see, when I was first introduced to the Wall Friends idea, I pegged it as something that kids and parents would absolutely love... provided they could actually see and find them. After a slow roll-out over the past year or so, Wall Friends have arrived at select Target Stores (list here), and are available online as well.

doclightRemarkably simple and effective in it's operation, Doc (and her friends, Lambie and Stuffy) are like a piece of formed plastic artwork that stands slightly more than 13" tall and can be hung on a wall with just a simple picture nail. Operating with 3 AA batteries in the light and 2 AAA batteries in the remote control, Doc and friends light up and speak at the push of a button, offering up several phrases with each push. After 15 minutes of silence, Doc shuts off - or you can press and hold the remote control for a verbal "goodbye" followed by an immediate shutdown. Rock Father Approved!The first wave of Wall Friends to hit Target includes DOC McSTUFFINS, JAKE AND THE NEVER LAND PIRATES, CARS' Lightning McQueen and CINDERELLA. Other characters such as Mickey and Minnie Mouse are available via Amazon, while others including SOFIA THE FIRST and PLANES' Dusty Crophopper are available now, direct from Uncle Milton.
