Did you watch the Season Two premiere of STAR WARS REBELS on Disney XD this weekend? In THE SIEGE OF LOTHAL, we watched as Darth Vader came to realize that "the apprentice lives," and that Ahsoka Tano (voiced by Her Universe creator Ashley Eckstein) had returned to aid the Rebels. A fan favorite from THE CLONE WARS, Ahsoka first emerged on REBELS at the end of Season One after being revealed as the informant known as Fulcrum. What will her future hold? We'll find out more when new Season Two episodes debut this Fall, but we also know that she'll be getting an all-new action figure as a Mission Series two-pack with Darth Vader. Stay tuned...

STAR WARS REBELS is a part of daily life here at Rock Father HQ, and one of the characters at the forefront is Kanan Jarrus. This Jedi badass has been hiding right under The Empire's nose, sporting a goatee and ponytail that I can certainly appreciate... in a late 90s sorta way. Voiced by Freddie Prinze Jr., Kanan is a character that has completely enamored my youngest daughter, Finley (who turns three today!), his appearance with The Phantom being a highlight of last Christmas. In fact, we have a whole army of Kanan's here at HQ, having acquired three figures of him - one with the Phantom, one by itself, and one with the Toys "R" Us Exclusive preview pack (with also included Ezra Bridger and Holographic Obi-Wan Kenobi). Actually, I think I just came up with my next band name: ARMY OF KANAN. You can check out Jarrus' latest adventures when STAR WARS REBELS: THE SIEGE OF LOTHAL premieres on Disney XD, June 20th, or pick-up KANAN: THE LAST PADAWAN - a limited series currently being published by MARVEL Comics.

As we've seen in recent days, Hasbro's Force Friday Countdown Calendar has really started hitting on some of the more recent characters from a galaxy far, far away... particularly those from STAR WARS REBELS. In many ways, REBELS will likely be viewed by The Rock Daughters as their true entry into the STAR WARS fandom, even more so than the original trilogy. Today comes a look at one of the most hard-to-find figures in recent memory, C1-10P aka CHOPPER from the STAR WARS REBELS Saga Legends collection. This little Astromech Droid is pretty sought-after, but word on the street is that he's been making his way into stores with a little more frequency of late (Disney Store and Toys "R" Us) are good places to check. So what's the backstory on this cantankerous little Droid? Check out the video below, and be sure to tune into the Season Two Premiere of STAR WARS REBELS on Disney XD, June 20th.

If you have not gotten into STAR WARS REBELS, you need to get on that. Arguably the best STAR WARS animated series yet to be released, the second season premiere takes place June 20th on Disney XD with STAR WARS REBELS: THE SIEGE OF LOTHAL, and both I and The Rock Daughters are counting the days. From Hasbro's recent Mission Series collection comes the Hera Syndulla action figure (who comes packed with a Stormtrooper), and she's featured as today's entry in the Force Friday Countdown Calendar. This fearless Twi'lek pilot (voiced by Vanessa Marshall) has fast-become a fan-favorite as the owner of The Ghost, and the main point of contact between the crew and Fulcrum... aka Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano (Ashley Eckstein).

Accelerate the fun at the Hot Wheels Headquarters at MattelShop.comOne of the fastest-growing and most exciting toy collections here at Rock Father HQ in recent months is the Hot Wheels STAR WARS Character Car Collection by Mattel. It's a unique thing - spawned from the first time that Mattel has held a STAR WARS license in the nearly 40-year history of the franchise, and something we've been covering since the first vehicles began hitting retail last year. With designs inspired-by characters from nearly all facets of a galaxy far, far away, two of the most recent additions are Chopper - the Astromech Droid from Disney XD's STAR WARS REBELS - and bounty hunter Boba Fett. Take a look at our new hands-on video below, right here on THE ROCK FATHER!

For today's entry into Hasbro's Force Friday Calendar, the subject matter is a little more recent than in weeks past - the Hero Series depiction of young Ezra Bridger from STAR WARS REBELS. New fans of the STAR WARS saga (my daughters included) have taken their first step into a larger world by following Bridger and the crew of The Ghost on the hit Disney XD series, and Ezra is a big name here. While we don't have his Hero Series figure (those are 12"), we have two different 3 ¾" versions (regular and "cadet") that have had some serious adventures here at Rock Father HQ.  STAR WARS REBELS: THE SIEGE OF LOTHAL will usher in the second season of STAR WARS REBELS, premiering June 20 on Disney XD.
