It's "New Music Tuesday" (one of the last times I can say that, as new releases shift to Fridays beginning July 10), and today there's something new for the whole family. Two of my kindie friends - TWINKLE TIME and MISTA COOKIE JAR - have teamed up for a new single and video called "Kidz Rock." Both artists produce bilingual jams for the kids and family market, and this one - released to coincide with Dia Del Niño (April 30) is a fresh mix of EDM, hip hop and pop. Check it out below, and if you dig it, buy the track direct from Twinkle via Bandcamp.
I'll be honest - I didn't know what THE HARLEM SHAKE was until yesterday afternoon when I caught it trending on twitter. A half hour and twenty videos later, I was well-versed enough in Harlem Shakeness to share it with my wife. If you're not familiar, Google is your friend (it's being called "the death of Gangam Style")... but here's what is quite possibly the first version done by a Children's performer, L.A.-based TWINKLE TIME. Check it out below...
It's time for another giveaway here on The Rock Father, and today we've got a fantastic prize pack courtesy of TWINKLE TIME. A high-energy, bilingual pop musical, Los Angeles-based Twinkle Time is a multimedia experience for the whole family with live performances, webisodes, and a pair of rockin' albums. To celebrate their newest release, MADE IN THE U.S.A. (available on iTunes), Twinkle Time has teamed up with The Rock Father to get one lucky reader hooked up with a copy of the new album along with their previously-released self-titled record!
With the 2012 Summer Olympics currently in-progress, Los Angeles-based Children's entertainer TWINKLE TIME has released a 'video tribute to TEAM USA past and present' set to their new single, "Made in the U.S.A." The title track from Twinkle's recently-released second album (available now on iTunes), the song can be heard below.
