When I heard that SteveSongs was releasing a free holiday single called "Our World," I immediately thought (and hoped) that it would be a cover of the song from EMMET OTTER'S JUGBAND CHRISTMAS. It is not... but it's still worth getting! SteveSongs' "Our World" is available as a Free Download now through December 31 via this link.

"I had fun writing 'Our World,' which was inspired by a PBS request for a wintertime song to go with their digital holiday card. The card pictured Grover showing a child the moon and stars on a snowy night. It was a heartwarming image. PBS KIDS is a trusted and trustworthy guide for young viewers; I see what the characters and programs and lessons mean to my own kids, and I'm so very proud to be a small part of that. And certainly that sentiment, along with the idea that we're all in this world (our world) together, made its way into this 'non-holiday' holiday song. Anand Nayak, my producer, helped me put the song together, and we liked it so much that it became a bonus track on our album, Music Time with SteveSongs: Volume 1."Steve Roslonek
