After being a destination for the purchase of great family music for years, Amazon has officially entered into the Kindie realm with exclusive new albums from THE POP UPS and LISA LOEB. GREAT PRETENDERS CLUB is the fourth album from Brooklyn Duo, THE POP UPS, while NURSERY RHYME PARADE! is the fourth children's album from singer/songwriter LISA LOEB. Both albums are available for unlimited ad-free streaming to Amazon Prime Members right now, while physical and MP3 versions are also available for order and pre-order, respectively.

“We’re excited to bring our new album to Amazon, and can’t wait for families to listen, dance and have fun with these songs together. We love making kids happy through music, know that GREAT PRETENDERS CLUB will do just that!”The Pop Ups’ Jason Rabinowitz and Jacob Stein

Lisa Loeb“We want to make Prime Music the destination where people of all ages go to discover and listen to great music, whether that’s the latest indie band, chart topping pop or the best in children’s music—we know that kids and parents will be delighted by the fun, original and exclusive songs on these two new albums,” said Steve Boom, VP of Digital Music for Amazon. “GRAMMY-nominated artists like The Pop Ups and Lisa Loeb are a great addition to the Amazon family – Prime members will love listening to these great new kids’ songs, anytime, anywhere.”

“I’m a Prime member and Amazon has always been one of my favorite and go-to destinations for everything from music to shoes, diapers, movies, and more; and as a mom that convenience is truly unbeatable to me,” said Lisa Loeb. “I am thrilled to now bring this new collection of songs to the Prime Music platform, where kids, and even their parents, can sing along and enjoy.”

While I haven't heard Lisa's new album just yet, I've already spun the new one from THE POP UPS and can easily deem it one of 2015's best - not surprising given their track record of excellence.
