Watch & Listen: Disney DCONSTRUCTED - "The Muppet Show Theme (Shy Kidx Remix)"

Written by

DCONSTRUCTEDToday, Walt Disney Records issued what is quite possibly one of the strangest, yet appropriately contemporary releases in their catalog. DCONSTRUCTED (available on Amazon & iTunes) finds Mickey Mouse and Friends going full-on EDM, with remixes of classic and modern Disney fare by artists such as AVICII, ARMIN VAN BUUREN, BT and more. Tonight, the video for THE MUPPET SHOW THEME as reimagined by SHY KIDX hit my inbox, and it is certainly something to behold. Not necessarily for the kids, it's a rave-styled trip. In fact, it reminds me of a few weekends back in 1994-1995-ish, when I visited some underground raves in the Quad Cities. I had a funky hat.

Disney DCONSTRUCTED Tracklisting:

1. “Circle of Life” from THE LION KING (Mat Zo Remix) – Carmen Twillie & Lebo M.
2. “Derezzed” from TRON: LEGACY (So Amazing Mix) Remixed by Avicii featuring Negin – Daft Punk
