I was just over on Facebook updating The Rock Father page (which really, you should be "liking" - so go "like" it!), and I happen to check out the latest update on Out With the Kids' page, and Jeff over there had some cool news that I hadn't seen yet: Morgan Taylor (the man behind GUSTAFER YELLOWGOLD) and fellow children's performer Todd McHatton have formed a new group, the UNDERBIRDS. The new kindie-rock collabo will see a full-length release this April, but in the meantime, check out the first track to be unleashed, "Brilliance"...

ZEAMU Music is an interesting beast. Not really a "band," but more of a consciously-assembled musical "project" for kids, Zeamu Music is much like the GORILLAZ for the kindie set. Previously-covered here on The Rock Father last November, Zeamu Music was created by a pair of UK-based "Mumprenuers" (Barbara Bishop and Fiona Case) alongside creative director Simon Case, who brought together a top-notch group of songwriters and performers to craft a family-friendly pop-rock album that's actually sung by children.

I recently received a copy of CHAMPIONS OF THE UNIVERSE, the recent album by New York State duo RATBOY JR. It's here in my insanely-growing queue of (mostly) great new Kids and Family music awaiting some proper coverage here on The Rock Father, and while that luchador on the cover (Santos?) keeps staring at me - seemingly growing angrier by the day - here comes a new music video from RATBOY JR.
