Two things I really love: STAR WARS and ENTOURAGE. Both have new movies in theaters later this year, and today comes a potentially-viral clip from the folks at Quiznos (yes, those purveyors of tasty subs that massively over-expanded in the Chicago market, and all but disappeared following the "Great Recession" and prior to their 2014 bankruptcy - I know too much about this stuff). The new short from Windowseat recalls a time when STAR WARS mashups were just coming into their own with "fan films" like AMERICAN JEDI or TROOPS. Check out STARTOURAGE: THE FOURSOME AWAKENS below, and let me know - does it make you want a sub? Toasty...

Ah yes, the traditional "evil baby" movie of the year is upon us. Like ROSEMARY'S BABY, THE OMEN, IT'S ALIVE, ORPHAN and countless others before it, DEVIL'S DUE (no, not the comic book company) is arriving courtesy of 20th Century Fox on January 17th, and you're right, it is a weird thing for me to feature in my "Dad Blog" portion of The Rock Father. Funny thing is, I have a long association with the "horror" realm (even worked for FANGORIA for a short time), so it's not that far off. But why I'm covering it today? A hilarious prank that the marketing team pulled on unsuspecting pedestrians in New York City. Check out the "Devil Baby Attack" video below, but not if you don't like creepy things, hidden camera gags, or awesome radio-controlled mischief. It's a pretty classy approach...

Watch: THE FATHERHOOD (Fiat 500L 12" Remix)

Back in December, the folks at Fiat UK scored a viral hit with THE MOTHERHOOD, a rap song dedicated to all the Moms (or "Mums") out there who "live large." It was only a matter of time before the Dads got some props, and last week Fiat UK hit The Rock Father with details on a new clip that was in the pipeline. Today, THE FATHERHOOD arrives - a four-minute ode to new Dads, presented in a throwback to 1980s New Romanticism complete with a Human League-esque melody... a Don Johnson-style MIAMI VICE jacket... floating dream sequences... and a Unicorn. Watch it below...

Kia Motors America will be hitting The Big Game this Sunday with an all-new Dad-centric ad that seeks to answer an age-old question: "Where do Babies Come From?" The clip is pretty funny (and well-done), so check it out below. I don't really plan on watching "The Big Game" this weekend (not a football fan), but my wife will likely force me to have it on for the experience of catching some of the commercials and the half-time performance "live" instead of online. Check out the new 2014 Kia Sorento Commercial below...
