It was just about a year ago when I first mentioned Super Monsters, a new series geared toward the preschool (and a bit older) set in which the children of monsters learn to navigate the social waters while coming to grips with their powers. Think Monster High, but in preschool - with a bit of that PJ Masks daytime/nighttime vibe, and you're on the right track. Now, just in-time for Halloween, the first season of Super Monsters has made it's debut as a Netflix Original Series, and straight out of the gate it's a good one.
I've written at length about PJ Masks over the course of the past two years, and what's really cool is that the legend of these young heroes just continues to grow as more families discover the adventures of Catboy, Gekko and Owlette. Despite airing daily on Disney Junior, this is an example of a program that's not actually produced by Disney (it's eOne and Frog Box), so it sorta stands on its own. Now, for those who may not have seen it (or those who have and just want to access it at any time), PJ Masks has come to Netflix with the entire first season streaming now!

I was just thinking about how it's been over two years since The Rock Daughters™ and I filmed a video doing some in-home science experiments timed with the debut of Project Mc2 - an Emmy-nominated Netflix Original Series from MGA Entertainment. Time certainly does fly, and that's made clear by what hit my inbox this evening - news that Project Mc2 Part 5 is coming to Netflix on September 15, and that the cast and crew recently threw-down at The London Hotel in West Hollywood, California to unveil the new season alongside some of this fall's new additions to the growing toy line.
Marvel's THE DEFENDERS just made its long-awaited debut, streaming exclusively on Netflix. The combined adventures of Daredevil AKA Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) Iron Fist AKA Danny Rand (Finn Jones) and possibly, eventually The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) [Ed: I haven't had a chance to delve in yet, but I expect him to be there] find the heroes uniting to save New York City. Along with the series comes a soundtrack, and Marvel Music/Hollywood Records have delivered.
