THE ROCK FATHER is both a member of the Netflix #StreamTeam and a Fox Home Entertainment Insider.

Last year, the characters from DreamWorks Animation's feature film TURBO made their way into a new realm, with the streaming debut of the Netflix Original Series, TURBO FAST. This month, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment brings TURBO FAST: SEASON ONE to DVD, packing all 26 episodes of high-octane fun into a special, 3-disc collection. Now, I'm giving readers a chance to bring the "world’s fastest snail" and his Fast Action Stunt Team into their homes, with a TURBO FAST giveaway!

It's hard to believe that I've been writing about DreamWorks Animation's TURBO for two years already, but here we are - and the Netflix Original Series spawned by the feature film is coming to DVD for the very first time. TURBO FAST: SEASON ONE, from the creators of TURBO, races home on June 2 in a three-disc collection from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, bringing with it over 9-hours of high-octane action with the world’s fastest snail and his Fast Action Stunt Team as they put their elite skills to the test against all-new opponents on and off the track. Check out the full episode listing below...

Netflix #StreamTeamI've said it before, and I'll say it again: My "recently-watched" and "recommended for" sections of my Netflix dashboard are completely dominated by children's programming. Yes, as a card-carrying member of the Netflix #StreamTeam, I'm more than aware that I could choose "KIDS" as a sign-in option, or create a new profile just for the munchkins - but I'm never one to take the easiest path, so I roll with it. While I bring you news on Netflix content periodically throughout each month, my formal column for May falls firmly in the hands of THE ROCK DAUGHTERS, Adalyn and Finley. What are they watching (with guidance from Mommy and Daddy)? Let's just say that a few of this month's choices are very close to my heart as well...

NETFLIX Stream TeamI posted a picture on Instagram the other day that my wife and I had been joking about. As the girls had just been tucked-in the night before, Jen and I sat down to watch another episode of the breakthrough MARVEL smash DAREDEVIL on Netflix. We don't have a lot of time for "binge watching" (though it's been very tempting), so we're on about episode 10 right now. The funny thing was how the "Recently Watched" and "Top Picks for James" reflected how much of our viewing is dictated by our girls. Yes, you can set-up individual profiles for the family (there's even a "KIDS" one), but I tend to use my own on our Vizio Smart TV just for the sake of convenience. What my wife said is that "people who would see these would either figure you have daughters, or are a total creep." Take a look...

My girls have been having some CARE BEARS withdrawal issues of late, with CARE BEARS: WELCOME TO CARE-A-LOT producing just 26 episodes (the last new one aired nearly 2 ½ years ago already), and the next series nearly a year off, when CARE BEARS AND COUSINS makes it's debut as a NETFLIX Original in 2016. While the popular characters from American Greetings are often popping up on those lists of "80's Toys That Are Back!" - CARE BEARS have never gone away for any real length of time, though their licensing partners have changed repeatedly. One of the more recent companies to pick-up the merchandising torch is Just Play, who have been slowly rolling out a new collection of CARE BEARS toys primed to capture the hearts of new fans and old ones (like me) alike. The first item to really hit home for us is the "Care Bears 5-Pack of Articulated Figures," which we're just calling "action figures" here at Rock Father HQ, despite only the arms moving on these 3" figures. Minimal articulation matters not to my girls, who are absolutely in love with this collection, while the nostalgia vibe is mighty for my wife and I...
