It's #BatmanvSupermanWeek here at THE ROCK FATHER Magazine, and with the epic battle finally making its way into cinemas around the world, there's certainly no shortage of cool toys and collectibles for kids of all-ages... and yes, I'm including grownups as "kids." For the collector that's looking for something extra-special to occupy some valuable real estate within their Hall of Justice home, DC Collectibles has something for you - a quartet of statues (2 Batman + Wonder Woman & Superman) featuring what's often hailed as the "Trinity" when it comes to heroes at the top of the DC Comics Universe... BATMAN, SUPERMAN and WONDER WOMAN. These highly-detailed works of art by sculptor James Marsano will be shipping in April, with pre-orders up now through my allies at Entertainment Earth, and the Official DC Entertainment Store. Ben Affleck's Dark Knight is featured in two editions - standard and armored - alongside Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman and Henry Cavill as The Man of Steel. Check 'em out...

With BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE bringing forth an epic battle between "Son of Krypton" and "Bat of Gotham," we know that the streets of both Gotham and Metropolis will never be the same. While Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) and Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) will be throwing down, there's also Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) in the mix, better-known as Wonder Woman. To celebrate this "trinity" of heroes and the inevitable dawn of THE JUSTICE LEAGUE, Mattel has released the limited-edition Hot Wheels Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Series, exclusively at Walmart. This 8-car series features 7 numbered vehicles, and an 8th "Chase Car." Now, THE ROCK FATHER Magazine is giving readers a shot at winning a complete set of eight cars, all as part of #BatmanvSupermanWeek!

I grew up a DC Comics kid. Despite how much I love what Disney has done (and continues to do) with their MARVEL Cinematic Universe, my two favorite comic book characters are the ones that Warner Bros. Pictures are making go head-to-head this March - BATMAN v SUPERMAN. Yes, the DAWN OF JUSTICE set the the internet on fire yesterday with the release of the film's final trailer, and I'm completely digging it. I was sold on the film before - but I was in the camp that likes Director Zack Snyder, enjoyed MAN OF STEEL, and was totally down with Ben Affleck putting on the cowl this time around. There is definitely some fight. Check this out...

On March 25th, my two favorite superheroes of all-time will face-off before they can team-up, with Zack Snyder's BATMAN v SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE hitting the big screen. Tonight, Warner Bros. is calling upon audiences to predict #WhoWillWin?, with a pair of new TV spots and an all-new poster that posits the "Man of Steel" versus "Bat of Gotham." Check them out below, and then weigh in - who do you think will win when these two titans take on each other?

Today (if you're reading this on September 26) is BATMAN DAY, an International Holiday created by DC Comics to celebrate The Dark Knight, The Caped Crusader... whatever you want to call BATMAN in any and all of his many forms. Growing up, SUPERMAN was always my #1 hero until the "summer of Batman" happened in 1989 and proceeded to give Bruce Wayne's alter-ego a nudge to the forefront. Over the years, I've had some cool BATMAN experiences - from seeing The Tumbler in-action on the set of Christopher Nolan's BATMAN BEGINS in 2004, to putting on the cape and cowl for Halloween last year. This year, I'm celebrating BATMAN DAY by giving readers of THE ROCK FATHER Magazine a shot at winning one (1) of two (2) complete sets of 2015 Hot Wheels BATMAN Series Vehicles by Mattel! There's six iconic vehicles in all, each packaged in matching artwork. Check this out...
