Are you ready for adventure? This summer, Captain Underpants took a flying leap from the printed page of the best-selling book series, landing on cinema screens to the delight of families everywhere. Now, Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie is coming home on Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD September 12, and now is the perfect time to pre-order the movie from Walmart and make plans for an epic early fall movie night. I've got a few tips to help you make the most of it, with snacks from Pop Secret and Lance, along with some free printables that the kids will love!

Indoor or Outdoor Screening? With back-to-school season in full-effect and the unofficial start of fall upon us, you may want to go with an old-school indoor movie night... or if you've got the gear, go with an outdoor screening! We do a lot of backyard movies here at Rock Father HQ, and personally, I love fall. The nights are cooler, so the mosquitoes aren't as bad, plus those cool nights make for prime-time for snuggling. A soft throw paired with an air mattress on the ground is something the whole family will enjoy.

Pre-Order Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie! Certified "Fresh" by Rotten Tomatoes, DreamWorks' Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie brings Dav Pilkey's acclaimed books to life as an outrageous family comedy that tells the story of two overly imaginative best friends, George (Kevin Hart) and Harold (Thomas Middleditch), who hypnotize their principal (Ed Helms) into thinking he’s the hero from their comic books: Captain Underpants. The film also features the voice talent of Nick Kroll as Professor Poopypants. Pre-order now at Walmart (while supplies last)!

Pop Secret and Lance Snacks

Grab the Popcorn & Snacks! On our latest trip to Walmart, I picked up a family-size box of Pop Secret Movie Theater Butter Popcorn, along with an assortment of Lance Crackers. I've written about Pop Secret before, as no movie night is complete without some Pop Secret to share. While we prefer the movie theater style, there's varieties for everyone!

Lance Crackers

Lance Snacks are a lunchbox staple that we've been buying for years (back-to-school and all), but they're also perfect for movie night. Want something different? Lance has been making their little cracker sandwiches for over a century! Packed with real peanut butter or real cheese between crispy baked crackers, up to 5 grams of protein, and no high fructose corn syrup, Lance snacks are sure to please.

Captain Underpants Free Printables
