UK rockers YOU ME AT SIX aren't a big name here in the 'States just yet, but with the release of CAVALIER YOUTH (Prospect Park/Universal) this past January, the groundwork has been laid. With a U.S. Tour set to begin on April 21, the band has just issued a U.S. remix of their song, "Just Breathe," which you can find streaming below.

Alternative rock outfit The Nearly Deads have announced dates for 'The Survival Tour," running March 8 - 21

Kicking off in Milwaukee, with a co-headlining slot at the inaugural LIAN Riot Music Series, the band then synchs up with Providence, RI rockers It Lives, It Breathes, from March 9 - 21, as they storm Chicago, Allentown, Baltimore, Springfield, Harrisonburg and other cities along the East coast. The band then returns home to Nashville to open for Halestorm at Cannery Ballroom on March 28.

Word rolled into Rock Father HQ today that SMILE EMPTY SOUL will follow-up their next run of headline dates by co-headlining the Chemical Free Tour with (HED)p.e. Dates stretch from mid-February into March, with additional dates expected to be added. Happy New Year! There's a big tour that was announced this week, and things will kick-off on June 19th in Hartford, Connecticut when FALL OUT BOY, PARAMORE and NEW POLITICS launch the MONUMENTOUR 2014. The extravaganza runs through August, with ticket pre-sales starting this Monday 1/13 at 10am local time. General on-sale begins on Friday 1/17 and Saturday 1/18 at 10am local time. I remember the early days of the Snocore Tour (bands like SYSTEM OF A DOWN, MR. BUNGLE, and THE AQUABATS rockin' the stage), though in recent years it sorta dropped off my radar, even going completely AWOL for the past two. Now, after it's short hiatus, Wind-Up Records and TKO are bringing it back as a celebration of music and winter sports. Headlining this year are the THE PRETTY RECKLESS with HEAVEN'S BASEMENT, THE LETTER BLACK, and CROBOT in support. On each date of the tour, one local artist will be chosen to play from ReverbNation.
