perrixmasCHRISTINA PERRI recently released A VERY MERRY PERRI CHRISTMAS, a six-song collection of new holiday recordings for 2012. "Let it Snow" is a holiday classic that doesn't appear on the new EP, but Christina recently performed the song in The Live Room for The Warner Sound. Recorded at The Fortress in Los Angeles, you can check out "Let it Snow" along with a bonus performance of her hit "A Thousand Years" below...

HALESTORM might not exactly be a band you'd associate with Halloween, but that's not stopping them from celebrating "Hale-a-ween" with The Warner Sound. The rockers sat down for a six-song set today in The Live Room, and the entire thing can be viewed below, along with an intro from the band. Check it out!

I'm still not 100% sure what to think about THE GORBURGER SHOW. In a lot of ways, the new show from The Warner Sound and Funny Or Die reminds me of the old VHS GWAR videos from the early 1990s.  What's it about? "Gorburger - an alien from outer space - has invaded and taken a Japanese news network hostage as host of his own talk show interviewing bands, musicians and celebrities all the while satisfying his thirst for bloodlust."

The Warner Sound continues their string of exclusive ''Live Room'' performances this week with a set from ED SHEERAN, recorded live at Hinge Studios in Chicago. You can check out his Nina Simone cover, "Be My Husband" below, or scroll down for his full performance. Weird sidebar? A lifetime ago (11-12 years or so) I interviewed with Hinge producer/engineer Craig Bauer for an internship. I ended up pursuing film classes at the time instead of audio production.

The Warner Sound continues posting some great exclusive content to it's YouTube channel, and today they've let The Rock Father know about a new performance from one of my wife's favorite artists,  REGINA SPEKTOR. Below the jump you can check out Regina performing 'All the Rowboats' in The Live Room, captured exclusively with Nikon D4 HD-SLRs camera and NIKKOR lenses. It looks and sounds great.
