I was just browsing the toy department of my local Meijer store the other night when I came across Hasbro's new collection of BLACK PANTHER toys in the wild for the first time. As with most of their Marvel-based collections, this one has the usual action figures and vehicles paired with an assortment of cool role play items. What's interesting this time around is that the "Black Panther Vibranium Hero Gear" just received its own commercial, and aside from a few Star Wars items, we usually don't see too many proper commercials for the role play gear. Check the new spot out below via Hasbro's YouTube Channel, and look for these toys and more in stores everywhere!

It's been more than 50 years since Stan Lee and Jack Kirby brought BLACK PANTHER to life in the pages of FANTASTIC FOUR #52. Now, after making his cinematic debut in Captain America: Civil War, T'Challa takes center stage in his own film, clawing its way into theaters on February 16. With a massive cast including Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, with Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis, BLACK PANTHER has been near the top of my must-see list for the year, and today comes a new featurette about how the character finally made the jump from the pages of Marvel comics to the big screen. Check it out!

This summer, I found myself in a room full of Avengers (Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Anthony Mackie, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Josh Brolin, Don Cheadle, Sebastian Stan) and a few Guardians of the Galaxy (Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff), too. At Disney's D23 Expo in Anaheim, I was one of the lucky few (thousand) that got to see a first-look trailer for Marvel Studios' Avengers: Infinity War. Like many things shown at the event, it was kept under wraps and not seen again outside of that room... until now. Unlike Comic-Con, where grainy Hall H footage tends to leak almost instantly, Marvel somehow kept the Avengers contained until today's release of the long-awaited official trailer for the film. From my own recollection, what you're about to see is very similar to what I witnessed this summer, with a few tweaks.

As the micro collectibles movement continues to grow, one recent entrant owes a lot to the past. Back in the early 80s, a decade or so before Micro Machines did plastic miniature figures, Kenner toys released the Star Wars Micro Collection - small, diecast figures and playsets. The figures weren't articulated, and the line never caught on, but there were other diecast figures out there, and they became more appealing to collectors as time went on. This year, Jada Toys expanded their METALS Diecast series by shrinking it down. Nano MetalFigs are tiny diecast figurines from a variety of pop culture licensees. There's Harry Potter, DC Comics (perfect for Justice League), Disney/Pixar, Marvel, WWE and more - and the individual figures start at just 99 cents, making them a perfect stocking stuffer!

On June 1, 2018, Ryan Reynolds will return to the big screen, once again starring as Wade Wilson in 20th Century Fox's DEADPOOL 2. Now, ahead of Thanksgiving, the first official teaser has arrived in all of its Bob Ross glory. Nothing wrong with fresh powder and making friends with happy little trees, but you're gonna want to keep this one from the kids as language is an issue, and stuff does blow up good. Check it out... and beat this teaser like it owes you money.

When it comes to the breakout toys of 2017, Fidget Spinners are serious business. What started as one thing expanded into an entire category of Fidgets - divisive as to whether they're toys, tools or just a fad that will eventually go the way of the Pog. For now, they're still hot, and the folks at Zuru Toys have some of the highest-quality offerings out there, and they recently sent us some for review. Bringing iconic superheroes into the mix, they've licensed characters from DC Comics and Marvel, bringing them together for a colorful collection of Fidget Spinners and Fidget Cubes - the original Fidget Cubes as developed by Antsy Labs!
