One of my most-anticipated films of the fourth quarter is Walt Disney Animation Studios' first foray into the MARVEL World with BIG HERO 6. Having seen a hallway that was teasing, yet being quite protective of the film during my February visit to the studios, my interest is piqued, and tonight I've got the first full trailer, and your first look at character profiles and the voice cast reveal, right here on THE ROCK FATHER. MARVEL's GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY: AN IMAX 3D First Look is coming to 150 IMAX theatre locations across North America at 7pm on July 7. The announcement came down from Marvel Studios this weekend that these theatres will offer "thrilling, never-before-seen IMAX 3D footage of the James Gunn-directed epic space adventure," which opens in U.S. theatres on August 1.

New Poster for BIG HERO 6 Arrives...

On November 7th,  the first property to cross-over into Disney Animation from the MARVEL comics world will arrive when BIG HERO 6 - the 54th Feature from Walt Disney Animation Studios - hits theaters. I still remember searching the web for info relating to the STAR WARS prequels like it was yesterday. The excitement was something unique, but I think the new excitement surrounding what Disney and Lucasfilm are doing with the STAR WARS galaxy is unlike anything we've experienced before. Hot off the announcement of more cast for STAR WARS: EPISODE VII and the first stand-alone spin-off comes news of another stand-alone film, this one to be directed by Josh Trank (CHRONICLE), who is currently helming MARVEL's reboot of THE FANTASTIC FOUR.
