With two little girls here at Rock Father™ HQ, my wife and I have purchased more than a few pairs of "kid-safe" headphones over the past few years, and frankly, most of them are garbage. From expensive ones that the kids find uncomfortable to the cool-looking, yet terrible-sounding licensed variety sold for cheap at retailers like Five Below, I've checked out a bunch and had never found any that I could really be excited about until now. At New York Toy Fair, I came across something unexpected while browsing the latest offerings from the crew over at Wicked Cool Toys. They've recently partnered with Halo Acoustic to help bring CozyPhones to a wider audience, and after bringing a couple of pairs back to Illinois, they're an immediate hit. CozyPhones are a 3-in-1 combo of headphones, sleep mask and a stylish headband.

“Young children are consuming content on all screens, and these CozyPhones headphones from Halo Acoustic Wear are a great solution for them. The soft, adjustable headband stays comfortably on small heads, while protecting their ears from listening too loudly,” said Jeremy Padawer, Co-President of Wicked Cool Toys.  “Plus,” added Michael Rinzler, Co-President of Wicked Cool Toys, “they’ll love wearing their favorite characters when they rock out to music, or watch their favorite shows. We can’t wait to bring them to a wider audience this year and beyond.”

While CozyPhones were able to sell 200,000 pairs on their own last year, Wicked Cool Toys is bringing in the licenses, launching with Spin Master's PAW Patrol and with others like Nickelodeon's JoJo Siwa coming down the line.

Having listened to these myself, the volume is perfect - loud enough to hear without being overbearing - and the flat headphones mean that these are comfortable. They're wired with a tangle-free cord, so they'll plug into most devices with a headphone jack, and the headphones are removable so that the headband can be thrown in the washing machine for easy cleaning.

These are available now from retailers such as Amazon, or via the CozyPhones website.
