I've been sort of obsessed with the idea of a life-sized TONKA truck ever since I saw one of the custom FORD TONKA's at the Chicago Auto Show a few years back. Then, someone that lives relatively close to me bought one - a fact I know since I see it on the road a few times a month, so there's a TONKA being stored somewhere new Rock Father HQ. But when it comes to life-sized TONKA trucks, the folks at Funrise Toys, who manufacture TONKA under license from Hasbro, have a long-running relationship with TOYOTA, and this week they've unveiled the life-sized TONKA 4Runner - a power-packed truck that joins a family of life-size TONKA marketing vehicles including the TONKA T-Rex, the TONKA Tundra and Off-road vehicles – Pro 2, Pro 4, Pro Lite and Pro Buggy, which compete in the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series.

Exclusive First-Look at MARVEL's ANT-MAN 2!

When the folks at Hasbro asked if The Rock Daughters™ and I would like to take part in their #SummerOfMarvel promotion, I was up for the challenge. Receiving a trio of mystery boxes that would be featured in episodes of UNBOXED on Rock Father TV, neither the girls nor myself would know exactly what was coming. For our second installment, Hasbro delivered their new Infinite Series 3¾" Ant-Man and Flying Ant¾" Ant-Man and Flying Ant set to us (appropriate since I've covered the film extensively) along with a note and a motion picture slate. Indeed, the girls were being called-upon to make their directorial debut, and that brings us to this - a first-look at MARVEL's ANT-MAN 2: ANT HARDER as directed by The Rock Daughters and shot on-location in our front yard and my office.

Last week, many celebrated the International Day of Friendship... but as MY LITTLE PONY has taught us - friendship is magic. With MY LITTLE PONY and a little bit of commitment, every day can be a Friendship Day, and that's why Hasbro and GenerationOn partnered for for an #MLPFriendshipDay initiative in which kids can work on simple service projects that could make a big difference - with an MLP twist. To celebrate friendship, the designers at Hasbro have crafted a few special tributes to some iconic pop culture friends from TRANSFORMERS, CLUELESS, SESAME STREET, LAVERNE AND SHIRLEY and I LOVE LUCY. Take a peek...

If you think you've seen this strange-looking four-eyed chap at a Cantina near Mos Eisley, you're wrong. That was Muftak you're thinking of (friend of Kabe), but he was from the species known as Talz, as is Jedi Master Foul Moudama. Unfortunately, Moudama found himself at the end of a lightsaber blade - getting whacked by General Grievous during The Clone Wars. The late Foul Moudama is featured as today's entry into Hasbro's Force Friday Countdown Calendar as we move toward the September 4th release of toys from J.J. Abrams' STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS.

The Step2 CompanyOn my recent trip to the Ohio headquarters of The Step2 Company, I turned a corner to find something mysterious... large... and previously only rumored to exist. The legend turned out to be true... and there it was - headlights shining at me - glaring in front of an iconic blue and orange color scheme that can only be claimed by one of America's biggest and best-selling automakers. Granted, they're usually 1:64 in scale and made largely of diecast metal, but I don't know if any car brand has moved more units than Hot Wheels since the first "Redlines" rolled-out in 1968. The odd thing here is that I found myself staring at what may be one of the biggest Hot Wheels items ever to be produced... and it wasn't in the famed Southern California Design Studio that Mattel has established for Hot Wheels, but in the Ohio testing facility of fellow toymaker Step2. Take a peek at this, and look very closely...
