After being inspired by my recent trip to The J.M. Smucker Company in Orrville, Ohio, I decided to try my hand at baking not only some of the tasty treats we sampled in their Culinary College, but also some of the recipes that they include with their products - you know, the ones you always see on packages and think "I should try that," but usually don't. Today I'm sipping their new Apple Pie coffee... as I stand in front of my Christmas tree while wearing a Santa Hat, a Griswold Family Tree "Bad Christmas Sweater" (it's a t-shirt), and using a Peanuts mug as my hot beverage holder of choice. When I was visiting the Smucker's crew in Orrville, Ohio last month, I had the opportunity to visit the famous J.M. Smucker Company Store & Cafe. A truly down-home, country store, one of the things that grabbed me was the selection of Gift Baskets and Gift Packs available. While I brought home some tasty treats for my family (enjoyed daily here at Rock Father HQ), the Smucker's online store just might have the unique gift that you're looking for this holiday season. Here's some suggestions, hand-picked by yours truly. They're even doing free shipping with a $50 purchase through December 2, 2013...
