#GhostbustersWeek continues on THE ROCK FATHER Magazine with even more pop-fashion... classic style.

When it comes to officially-licensed GHOSTBUSTERS apparel, perhaps no one has a bigger selection available than the folks at 80sTees.com. While they've got numerous different options including costume shirts and those with famous slogans ("Who Ya Gonna Call?"; "We Came We Saw"), you can't go wrong with the classic "No Ghost" logo created by Michael C. Gross. Available on many different colors of shirt for both men and women alike, you can show your GHOSTBUSTERS pride no matter if you dig the 1984 team, the 2016 team, or both!

#GhostbustersWeek continues on THE ROCK FATHER Magazine with a pop-fashion feature on one of my favorite mashups. From designer Helljester comes SLIMER THRASHIN' MAD- a t-shirt that posits the lovable green ghost as he might appear should he have stepped in for late SLAYER guitarist Jeff Hanneman instead of Exodus' Gary Holt. Who knew that Slimer was a left-handed player?

As #GhostbustersWeek begins, we're looking at the home stretch in which questions will be answered as many continue to discuss Ivan Reitman's 1984 GHOSTBUSTERS vs Paul Feig's 2016 GHOSTBUSTERS. Having loved the first two films (indeed, I enjoy 1989's GHOSTBUSTERS II) and not yet seen the latest, what I can say is that there's plenty of room for both the old and the new - men and women alike. On the pop-fashion front, designer DoOomcat is celebrating both crews - the men of '84 and the women of '16 - with a pair of t-shirts offered via my ally, TeeFury: Old Guard and New Guard.

If you're looking for a unique gift that also makes a great stocking stuffer this Holiday season, it's no secret that jewelry can often fit that bill... for kids, too! Even better is when you can put a handmade spin on some pop culture icons for a design that's both familiar and different. Mama Beads & Baby Baubles is a small business based in Pennsylvania, producing handmade Bubblegum Bracelets and Necklaces, with custom designs featuring semi-precious and glass beads available as well. Owner Amy Martin spotted The Rock Daughters' fashion sense a few months back and sent us a few of her creations. We liked them so much that I'm including them as an official pick in my 2015 Holiday Wish Guide here on THE ROCK FATHER Magazine!

With the Black Friday shopping week finally upon us, the end of the 2015 Holiday Shopping Season is already in sight - a green-and-red clad elf waving a festively-themed checkered flag at the finish line: December 25th. Family gatherings and the spreading of Holiday Cheer begins with Thanksgiving for us, and that means getting The Rock Daughters™ ready for all the photos and fun - and new Holiday Dresses are always a part of that. We're big Kohl's shoppers to begin with, and this year they've really gone all-in on the Holidays - increasing their toy selection  by 50%, and bringing families a fantastic selection of clothing, decor, gifts  and more. Our family headed for Kohl's to get the girls decked-out in their Holiday best, and (when they're behaving) trying on all the different possibilities is a huge part of the fun.

Official Announcement: In celebration of Lucasfilm’s highly anticipated film, STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS, Disney Consumer Products and Bloomingdale's are joining forces with an illustrious group of designers in a new fashion-meets-fundraising initiative, “Force 4 Fashion.” Taking inspiration from the film’s costume designer, Michael Kaplan, fashion favorites Cynthia Rowley, Diane von Furstenberg, Giles Deacon, Halston, Opening Ceremony, Ovadia & Sons, Parker, Rag & Bone, Timo Weiland and Todd Snyder are each creating an outfit to be auctioned for charity that pays homage to characters from the new movie.
