So what does my offline work include these days? Well, I've been doing some directing and editing again, and the latest piece has hit the 'web as of this afternoon. Below the break you can check out the official ''lyric video'' for the new DIRGE WITHIN single entitled For My Enemies. The video was put together by yours truly, and the song will be featured on the band's sophomore album THERE WILL BE BLOOD, which arrives at retail on April 10, 2012 via THC: Music, Rocket Science Ventures, and SONY RED Distribution.
This video is my first foray into the world of ''lyric videos,'' which are becoming extremely popular in the promotion of new music. They cost a lot less than a traditional music video, and they take less time to create. Do you need a lyric video created for your band or artist? Yep, I am for hire (contact info here)! While this is my first, I've already been booked for two more - each for a very different artist.
If you missed it last month, I also directed and edited the video Blood Coated Concrete by the band PRODUCT OF HATE. At the 4-minute mark is a preview of a short film we did together starring HELLRAISER actress Ashley Laurence. FX Legend Robert Kurtzman (FROM DUSK TILL DAWN) produced, while visual FX were handled by his Creature Corps. Check it out...
Bringing all worlds together, you can check out both DIRGE WITHIN and PRODUCT OF HATE together when they hit Luna Lounge in Appleton, Wisconsin on March 31, or when they hit Reggie's in Chicago on April 22nd. Rock!
