Fall Fun: Pumpkin Spice Latte returns to STARBUCKS...

It's time once again for the return of an old friend - one that brings warmth and comfort to the cool Fall days and nights... one that's still welcome even though it's still hot here in Illinois. Yes, I'm talking about the Pumpkin Spice Latte from STARBUCKS, and yes - it's back. Officially released today for the 2012 season, they snuck out early at the Starbucks I visited within a TARGET store this past Saturday, and that said - the first Pumpkin Spice of the season was officially consumed. For The Rock Father, Pumpkin Spice is just another element of what makes Fall the best season of them all.

Rumor has it that there's a mystical town somewhere in America that celebrates "PSL Days..." or so the marketing folks at Starbucks would have us all believe...


pumpkinspice2012Indeed, as the days become cooler and the leaves begin to fall, I'll undoubtedly be frequently found with an infant on one arm, a toddler at my feet, and a warm Pumpkin Spice in my hand. Sure, there's countless other places to get a Pumpkin Spice Coffee (I've even made them at home), but they're just not the same.

Interesting fact? For 2012, Pumpkin Spice Latte will be offered for the first time in the UK, Ireland, France, Austria and Switzerland. Drink up, my International friends!
